A leading company in the marketing and importation of industrial materials and commodities seeks: Import Logistics Manager Position Objective: Responsible for coordinating and optimizing national and international logistics operations, ensuring efficient supply, logistics cost control, and strategic distribution of high-volume and heavy products such as steel, aluminum, cotton, and other industrial commodities. Requirements * Completed Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree in: Logistics, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in: international logistics, imports, traffic management, supply chain, national distribution. * Mandatory experience in companies involved in: steel, aluminum, cotton, commodities, raw materials, or high-volume/weight industrial products. * Experience managing transportation and warehousing operations, maritime and land imports, INCOTERMS, customs brokers, and logistics KPIs. Main Responsibilities * Coordinate imports and national distribution. * Supervise logistics operations and warehouse supply. * Negotiate rates with shipping lines, carriers, and logistics providers. * Optimize transportation, warehousing, and handling costs. * Monitor logistics indicators and service levels. * Ensure efficient deliveries and operational compliance. * Implement improvements in logistics processes.
