TIPS **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Regarding Financial and Administrative Management: * Ensure accuracy in cash handling and other payment methods: Supervising cash counting at the start and end of each shift, verifying banknote authenticity, and managing credit/debit card and other electronic payment transactions. * Control and record all sales transactions: Ensuring every order is correctly invoiced and registered in the point-of-sale (POS) system. * Perform corresponding settlements and printouts from banking POS terminals (TPV). * Conduct daily cash closings: Performing appropriate cash counts, reconciling income with system records, and preparing daily cash reports. Daily supervision of the cashier’s activities during their shift. Supervision of proper end-of-day closing (sales notes and closing invoices). * Minimize losses and errors: Implementing and supervising procedures to prevent fraud, theft, and errors in money handling. * Manage petty cash: Ensuring sufficient change is available and managing cash requests as needed. * Responsible for requesting supplies from suppliers according to requisitions issued by Management or Department Heads. * Collaborate with administration: Providing accurate and timely financial information, and participating in the implementation of policies and procedures related to cash management. * Manage supplier payments. * Manage stationery supply requests and report malfunctions of equipment or tools (computer, radios, TPV, printer, etc.) Regarding Customer Service: * Provide friendly and efficient service at the payment counter: Greeting customers courteously, processing payments quickly and accurately, and thanking them for their visit. * Resolve customer inquiries and questions regarding their bill: Explaining charges, making adjustments when necessary, and answering questions about payment methods. * Handle complaints or issues related to payments: Seeking effective solutions and escalating more complex problems to management if required. * Maintain a clean and organized cashier area: Creating a professional and pleasant environment for customers.
