




Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the availability and optimal condition of injection molds through preventive and corrective maintenance to guarantee the quality of plastic parts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molds. 2. Diagnose failures and ensure the quality of plastic parts. 3. Manage maintenance logs and spare parts inventory. **Mold Technician** **Objective Summary** Ensure the availability and optimal condition of injection molds for production. Responsible for executing the **preventive maintenance plan** (cleaning, lubrication, seal replacement) and **corrective maintenance** (cavity repair, closing adjustments, electrical system repairs) to ensure plastic part quality and prevent line stoppages. **Main Responsibilities** * **Disassembly and Cleaning:** Disassemble complex molds for deep cleaning and removal of gas or polymer residues. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Inspect cooling circuits (flow and leak tests) and lubricate moving components (ejector pins, slides, guide pillars). * **Failure Diagnosis:** Identify root causes of part defects (flash, burns, sink marks) related to mold condition. * **Corrective Maintenance:** Adjust inserts, repair damaged cores, and ensure the ejection system operates without jamming. * **Administration:** Complete maintenance logs and manage spare parts inventory (springs, bolts, seals). **Requirements:** * **Experience:** 5 years of experience in manufacturing, repair, maintenance, and adjustment of plastic injection molds. * **Education:** Technical degree in Machine Tools, Industrial Mechanics, or related field.
