




Job Summary: A quality control engineer who supports the development and implementation of quality programs, translates specifications into product criteria, and manages daily quality issues. Promotes continuous improvement and capitalizes on opportunities. **Role Summary:** As a Quality Control Engineer, you will support the development, implementation, and execution of quality control programs and procedures. This role involves translating customer specifications and industry standards into product/process criteria and developing control plans to meet such requirements. You will also handle day-to-day quality issues related to production at the manufacturing plant, customer sites, and supplier facilities. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate with production to plan and execute incoming and in-process controls. * Manage relationships with customers or external inspectors. * Participate in testing and quality audits of external suppliers. * Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events. * Monitor product portfolio KPIs and drive effective corrective actions when necessary to address gaps against agreed targets. * Manage inspections conducted in the presence of customers. * Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify issues for management and stakeholders regarding process status or product quality. * Raise awareness among leadership about identified or developed opportunities and how to leverage them. * Collaborate with the department or other company departments to clarify/resolve technical issues related to quality control activities. * Provide all documents to the customer per the QAP after coordinating with internal departments and closing all documentation-related queries. * Perform other assigned tasks. **Requirements:** * Experience in engineering and use of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies. * Experience in the quality control department. * Knowledge of product/process flow. * Strong organizational skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5–7 years of relevant experience.
