We Are Seeking a Senior Accountant!** At Tecnovidrio, a leading company in its sector, we are seeking a Senior Accountant with solid accounting and tax expertise, a strategic mindset, and proven leadership over teams, to strengthen our financial management and support executive decision-making. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead and supervise all accounting department activities, including general accounting, cost accounting, project accounting, and tax accounting. * Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring proper compliance. * Oversee preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement) in accordance with Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and internal policies. * Analyze and interpret financial information to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to management. * Ensure compliance with federal and local tax obligations (e.g., ISR, IVA). * Coordinate and supervise internal and external audits. * Supervise construction cost control and analysis, ensuring correct application of revenue and cost recognition methods—especially for construction projects. * Manage long-term construction project accounting. * Handle IMSS and Siroc systems, ensuring their proper integration into accounting processes. * Lead, train, and develop the accounting team, fostering high performance. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency of financial information and support strategic decision-making. **Profile Requirements: Academic Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (graduated and holding professional license). * Master’s degree or specialization in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or Internal Audit is desirable. **Professional Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting. * At least 2 years leading or supervising accounting teams. * Experience in month-end closing, reconciliations, accounts payable, fixed assets, and taxes. * Experience in construction or engineering companies is desirable. **Technical Skills:** * In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (NIF / IFRS or US GAAP). * Proficiency in Mexican tax legislation and SAT regulations. * Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. * Advanced Excel skills for financial and accounting analysis. * Extensive experience in construction cost accounting, long-term projects, construction materials inventory, and sector-specific tax regulations. * Specific experience handling IMSS and Siroc systems. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Statutory benefits plus additional perks. * Job stability and professional development opportunities. * Excellent work environment.
