**Computer Science Teacher and Bilingual Laboratory Coordinator (Preparatory Level)**
A medium-high level educational institution is seeking to hire a professional specialized in computer science and technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching at the preparatory (high school) level and ensuring the optimal operation, organization, and academic utilization of the computer laboratory.
**Academic and Professional Requirements**
* **Academic Qualifications:** Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics for Computing, Computer Sciences, or Technology; Engineering or Graduate Degree in Computing, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related fields. A valid **Degree Certificate and Teaching License** are mandatory.
* **Language Proficiency:** Certified English proficiency at **B2 or C1 level** (Official, valid certification from the **ETS 8-level system and/or TOEFL** is mandatory).
* **Experience:** Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the high school (bachillerato) level and managing educational computing centers.
**Competencies and Technical Knowledge**
* **Curricular Expertise:** Up-to-date knowledge of computer science curricula, digital citizenship, and productivity tools.
* **Laboratory Management:** Ability to perform basic preventive maintenance, organize inventories, control access, and regulate equipment usage.
* **Pedagogical Skills:** Design of instructional lesson plans, management of adolescent groups, and assessment of learning through projects.
* **Educational Technology:** Proficiency in operating systems, advanced software suites, basic programming languages, and school management platforms.
**Main Responsibilities**
* **Teaching:** Deliver computer science and computing courses aligned with the academic year’s learning objectives.
* **Laboratory Coordination:** Supervise appropriate equipment usage, manage the practical session schedule, ensure network connectivity, and report technical maintenance needs.
* **Planning and Assessment:** Develop weekly lesson plans and submit grade reports on time and as required.
* **Safety and Compliance:** Implement and monitor adherence to the internal laboratory regulations to ensure student safety and equipment integrity.
* **Innovation:** Propose new technological tools to strengthen the teaching\-learning process across all academic areas.
**Position Conditions**
* **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (Full-time).
