Join us in advancing our mission to extend lives and expand possibilities. **Main Goal of this position:** * Coordinate and supervise the operational execution of tax processes and controls to ensure that the organization complies with all tax obligations correctly, documented, and on time. * Participate in tax planning, identifying efficiency opportunities and mitigating risks. * Manage internal and external audits. * Provide technical advice to internal clients. **Activities:** * Promote a culture of tax compliance and ethical business practices within the organization. * Establish and maintain tax processes that ensure proper compliance with the Vantive group’s obligations. * Lead projects related to changes and new tax obligations. * Attend tax audits and information requests from authorities and corporate. * Identify opportunities for tax optimization or savings within the legal framework. * Collaborate with other areas to resolve tax inquiries. * Perform calculation and analysis of current and deferred taxes and attend corporate tax requirements. **Responsibilities:** **Tax Compliance** * Supervise the correct and timely compliance with tax obligations. * Review tax returns and monthly/annual calculations for income tax, Valued Added Tax (VAT), and withholdings. * Validate tax reconciliations, working papers, and supporting documentation. * Ensure compliance with Informatives and Tax returns, Tax Opinion, withholdings, and other tax obligations. * Review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions under United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (Local GAAP). * Verify compliance with transfer pricing obligations. * Supervise the calculation of deferred taxes under US GAAP. **Audits and Tax Control** * Coordinate internal and external tax audits, ensuring the complete delivery of all required information. * Verify that tax calculations comply with current regulations. * Review online digital tax invoice (CFDIs), deductibility, and applicable tax requirements. * Follow up on tax and labor compliance of specialized service providers (REPSE). * Keep the tax calendar updated. * Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization. * Act as liaison with tax authorities and internal/external auditors. * Implement policies and procedures that strengthen tax controls. **Management and Coordination** * Supervise, coordinate, and develop tax analysts. * Train the team on tax changes. * Advise internal clients such as accounting, payroll, treasury, human resources, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and legal. * Collaborate with other departments on projects with tax impact. * Comply with internal financial policies and requirements. * Stay updated on tax matters. **Tax Planning** * Advise the business on decisions with tax impact. * Participate in tax optimization initiatives within the legal framework. **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in public accounting, finance, or a related field. * Preferred: specialization in taxation or a tax diploma. **Experience:** * \+6 years in tax areas, preferably in multinational environments. * Experience in audit firms (preferred) **Knowledge:** * Advanced knowledge of Mexican tax legislation (Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Federal Tax Code, and regulations). * Strong experience in federal and deferred tax calculations. * Knowledge of local GAAP, US GAAP, labor, and social security regulations. * Transfer pricing concepts. * Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros) and data analysis. * Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERPs \- e.g., JD Edwards) and tax tools (OneSource) preferred. * Spanish and Advanced English (spoken and written). **Competencies:** * Analytical thinking and initiative. * Effective communication with teams and authorities. * Time management. * Effective negotiation and conflict management. * Problem solving. * Results‑oriented, sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure. **Attributes:** * Work ethics * Integrity and trust * Good judgment * Sense of achievement * Courage and conviction **Values:** * Focus on rapid action. * Respect for people and their contributions * Passion for innovation and solutions * Accountability and integrity * Dedication to quality * Enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement **Other Requirements:** * Occasional travel availability \#LI\-AMER **Reasonable Accommodation** Vantive is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities globally.
