Teamwork in a customer service-oriented environment. ### **Mero Mero – Café & Restaurant** ### **Be part of our grand opening.** ### **We will soon open our doors and are looking for individuals passionate about gastronomy, responsible, and possessing excellent customer service attitudes to join our team.** ### **The Cashier role involves accurately processing customer payments, handling cash and various payment methods, ensuring precise daily cash reconciliations, and delivering friendly customer service at the register.** ### **Main Responsibilities** * Processing payments in cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods. * Handling and safeguarding cash. * Preparing daily cash reconciliations. * Verifying that payments match issued orders. * Issuing tax invoices and fiscal receipts, where applicable. * Providing courteous and service-oriented customer assistance at the register. * Reporting cash discrepancies or incidents to management. * Performing basic administrative support tasks related to the cashier area. * Adhering to internal policies and procedures. ### **Requirements** * Education: Completed high school diploma. * Minimum experience: 1 year as a cashier (preferably in a restaurant setting). * Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency. * Basic knowledge of cash handling and cash audits. ### **Skills and Competencies** * Honesty and responsibility. * Attention to detail and organizational skills. * Excellent customer service attitude. * Ability to work under pressure and collaborate effectively in a team. * Clear and courteous communication. ### **Schedule** * Work schedule from Monday to Sunday with a weekday day off. * *(Rotating shifts, based on operational needs)* ### **We Offer** * Competitive salary. * Statutory benefits. * Tips (if applicable). * Job stability and career growth.
