WE ARE A MEXICAN COMPANY WITH OVER 37 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, AND WE ARE SEEKING YOUR TALENT " **Safety Supervisor in Cuernavaca, Morelos**" **Job Location (**Jiutepec, Morelos C.P. 62578**)** **Requirements** Education: Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related field Experience: 2 years working with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (QHSE) processes, either in the industrial or construction sector. · Implementation of efficiency projects (electricity, water, gasoline, etc.) · Waste management. · Conducting safety inspections and protocols. · Developing manuals, policies, and procedures related to QHSE, and auditing their implementation. * Job Responsibilities: Identify, understand, and manage risks; i.e., propose mitigation actions to personnel under supervision; possess strong verbal and written communication skills for hazard elimination and control, with attention to detail in risk identification * Competencies: Leadership and decision-making abilities; assertiveness; proactive mindset combined with responsive and corrective action capabilities; effective and assertive communication * Academic Qualification Level: Preferably a Petrochemical, Industrial, Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering degree aligned with industrial safety * Work Experience: Construction, chemical or petrochemical industry, metal-mechanical sector; preferably with knowledge of confined spaces, working at heights, ATEX, lifting operations, demolitions, and excavations \*Job Responsibilities:\- Authorization of high- and low-risk activities for contractors \- Reporting of unsafe conditions \- Reporting of safe and unsafe acts \- Reporting of activities \- Site inspections in areas where work is being performed \*DC3: \- Working at Heights Safety \- Cutting and Welding Safety \- Electrical Work Safety \- Machinery Safety \- Hazardous Chemicals Handling Safety \- LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) \- Lifting Operations Safety \- Construction Safety \- Industrial Safety – Supervisor Level \- Risk Analysis \- Confined Spaces Safety \- Excavation and Demolition Safety Work schedule: Monday to Friday Two shifts are operated 8-hour workdays from Monday to Friday plus one Saturday every 15 days We Offer Excellent negotiable salary Statutory benefits Pleasant work environment One-month project; upon outstanding performance and attitude, negotiation for permanent, trusted staff position will follow.
