Position Summary: We are seeking an Operating Room Nursing Supervisor responsible for managing and ensuring the availability of surgical materials, supervising staff, and coordinating with suppliers. Coordinate with suppliers and medical teams We are looking for an Operating Room Nursing Supervisor responsible for ensuring proper management, control, and availability of surgical materials, medical devices, and consumables used in the operating room. The role requires a combination of technical knowledge, personnel supervision capability, and effective coordination with suppliers and medical teams. · Requirements Education: Biomedical Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Experience: 1–2 years in surgical supply areas, medical warehouse, or similar. Knowledge of: Wound care materials and medical devices. Endoscopy and Ophthalmology consumables. Medical equipment and surgical instruments. Hospital inventory and supply control. Occupational Health and Safety regulations and environmental regulations. Supplier management and staff training. Administrative software and advanced Excel. · Main Responsibilities Review and update surgical scheduling to ensure materials and procedures fall within contractual scope. Analyze surgical procedure data (duration, costs, materials). Disseminate surgical scheduling to COHRSUR staff and suppliers. Supervise negotiations, communication, and contractual compliance with suppliers. Validate material availability prior to each procedure. Request quotations and manage case studies with suppliers and the medical department. Supervise breaks, schedules, and roles of the technical team under supervision. Continuously train technical staff and new hires. Assign procedures according to scheduling. Supervise correct material delivery for each surgery. Verify proper signing and return of used materials. Coordinate daily recording of procedures and materials. Validate records made by COHRSUR technicians and correct deviations. Prepare weekly, biweekly, and monthly reports. Maintain updated databases. Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization. Comply with the Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS).
