Position Summary: We are seeking a Pharmacist for a short-stay clinic, responsible for verifying prescriptions, evaluating medication appropriateness, and supporting pharmaceutical operations. Active participation in committees and continuous training **PHARMACIST** A short-stay clinic is seeking talent as a Pharmacist. REQUIREMENTS * Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Biology, Industrial Pharmacy and Chemistry, Pharmacy Degree, or professionals with pharmacy-related disciplines. * Additional training: Handling and control of medications and other health supplies in Hospital Pharmacy, Pharmacovigilance, Medication Reconciliation, and Development of Pharmacotherapeutic Profiles; Integrated Training System for Dispensing (SICAD); and Standardized Operating Procedures (PNO). * Minimum 2 years of experience in a position related to the described responsibilities. RESPONSIBILITIES * Verify medical prescriptions and evaluate pharmacotherapeutic profiles, including dosage, routes of administration, interactions, and duplications. * Assess prescription appropriateness during the dispensing process for medications and medical supplies, aiming to comply with policies on rational and safe medication use. * Support selection of medications and updating of the institutional essential drug list. * Monitor consumption and conduct pharmacoeconomic studies to guide timely procurement. * Detect, record, and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors according to NOM-220-SSA1-2016. * Participate in ongoing training and contribute to technical staff development. * Join the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Patient Safety Committee, or similar bodies.
