Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced tailor to operate sewing machines, perform alterations, and ensure garment integrity while preserving their original style and design. Key Highlights: 1. Passion for customer service and proactivity **Job Objective:** Operate sewing machines and perform alterations including: single hem, Spanish valance, taking in/letting out waistbands, shortening/lengthening jacket sleeves, shortening jacket length, raising necklines, adjusting waistlines, replacing zippers, shortening shirt sleeves, triple-fold hems on dresses, and taking in/letting out the center back seam of jackets. **Responsibilities:** * Clean the machine and work area daily. * Review the type of alterations required for each garment. * Serve customers with a positive attitude; mark garments to be purchased using pins or chalk, and complete repairs within the agreed timeframe. * Maintain garment integrity, preserving the original style and design as much as possible. * Press garments and hang them for quality inspection. * Update alteration order statuses in the system. * Meet customer specifications: Work closely with customers to understand their preferences and needs regarding clothing adjustments and modifications. **Requirements:** * Teamwork orientation. * Passion for customer service. * Organized and proactive. * Flexible availability. * Completed high school education preferred. * Minimum two years of experience.
