We are seeking a Loss Prevention Leader for a major Suburbia store in Mérida. El Puerto de Liverpool is Mexico’s leading department store company. What will you do? Perform surveillance activities, security inspections, theft prevention, and identification of unsafe conditions and acts. Verify that cashiers know the location and operation of panic buttons. Validate operational tests of the Emergency Power Plant and fire pumps (accompanied by maintenance staff). Verify the physical condition and functionality of emergency exits. Supervise compliance with instructions for day, night, armed, and patrol guards. Monthly review and completion of fire extinguisher and hydrant forms. Inspection of vulnerable areas and electrical installations (perimeter zones, high-value areas, etc.). Review of patrol logs, shift handover reports, and entry/exit records for night guards. What we seek in you: Completed Bachelor’s degree 2 years of experience Personal responsibility Effective communication Self-direction Verify that partial cash withdrawals are deposited into the rotary cash drawer. Verify that cashiers know the location and operation of panic buttons. Validate operational tests of the Emergency Power Plant and fire pumps (accompanied by maintenance staff). Validate shipping and delivery guides handed to the carrier. Verify the physical condition and functionality of emergency exits. Supervise compliance with instructions for day, night, armed, and patrol guards. Supervise thorough cash counts for fixed cash drawers and used change funds. Monthly review and completion of fire extinguisher and hydrant forms. Inspection of vulnerable areas and electrical installations (perimeter zones, high-value areas, etc.). Review of patrol logs, shift handover reports, and entry/exit records for night guards. Review Click & Collect operations (SG’s report, cancellations, returns, rejections, and active orders vs. physical inventory). Review and communicate findings to the regional Loss Prevention Manager regarding cashier deviations. Report security incidents (robbery, intrusion, accidents, violent theft, or any incident jeopardizing business operations). Conduct interior and exterior patrols at store opening and closing. Cyclic inventories / follow up on significant discrepancies in quantity and weight in Zero-Tolerance sections (High-Value). Identify failures in security equipment. Desirable experience in operational or administrative control activities. Flexibility in schedule and willingness to work rotating shifts.
