




Position Summary: An engineer with experience in supervising the assembly, engineering validation, and testing of HVAC and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulatory requirements, and budget. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure proper execution and commissioning of HVAC and electrical systems. 2. Detailed supervision of field installation and engineering validation. 3. End-to-end management from procurement through testing and initial maintenance. **Job Objective:** Ensure proper execution, assembly, and commissioning of air conditioning and electrical systems. Priority is placed on installations conforming to engineering design, load calculations, mechanical guidelines, and allocated budget. **1. Specific Responsibilities** * **Assembly Supervision:** Oversee installation of ductwork, grilles, air handling units (AHUs), condensers, TVRs, electrical panels, conduits, and wiring. * **Engineering Validation:** Interpret and correct 2D/3D drawings, mechanical guidelines, and *submittals* (equipment technical data sheets) in the field to prevent clashes among installations. * **Procurement Management:** Conduct precise site surveys to order materials and equipment, avoiding shortages or excesses that impact cash flow. * **Administrative Control:** Prepare work invoices for billing executed installations and technical progress reports. * **Testing and Commissioning:** Supervise hydrostatic tests, ductwork leak tests, air balancing, and electrical load tests. * **Maintenance:** Coordinate initial preventive and corrective maintenance services for installed equipment during the warranty period. **2. Required Technical Profile** * **Education:** Degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field. **Essential Knowledge:** * Thermal load calculation and equipment selection. * Electrical regulations (NOM-001-SEDE) and refrigeration standards (ASHRAE). * Proficiency in **AutoCAD**. * Use of instruments: multimeter, pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, and anemometers. **3. Key Competencies** * **Technical Accuracy:** Ability to detect drawing errors prior to installation. * **Contractor Negotiation:** Control quality of work performed by third-party specialists in ductwork and electrical installations. * **On-site Problem Solving:** Ability to adjust duct or piping routes in response to unforeseen interferences.
