Position Summary: Design, lead, and execute the company’s comprehensive commercial strategy to drive sustained sales growth and brand positioning, with a focus on premium clients and strategic alliances. Management of premium clients and loyalty programs **Position Objective** Design, lead, and execute the company’s **comprehensive commercial strategy**, driving sustained sales growth, business expansion, and brand positioning in local, national, and international markets—with special emphasis on **premium, foreign, and expatriate clients (American and Canadian)** and strategic alliances (wedding planners, event organizers, hospitality, and tourism). **Ideal Candidate Profile** A **highly strategic, results-oriented professional with strong commercial DNA**, possessing a large-scale business mindset, long-term vision, and the ability to **continuously explore new sales opportunities**, innovate in products, and build solid, lasting commercial relationships. **Key Responsibilities Commercial and Sales Strategy** * Define and execute the **commercial and sales strategy** across all locations, brands, or business lines. * Identify and develop **new commercial opportunities** through active prospecting, strategic alliances, and market exploration. * Design specific strategies for the **foreign market and expatriates** (Americans, Canadians, and Europeans residing in or visiting Mérida). * Analyze profitability margins and **recommend products with the highest margin and turnover**. * Establish sales targets, KPIs, and action plans to achieve them. **Business Development and Expansion** * Represent and support the brand at **trade shows, fairs, events, conferences, and networking activities** (wedding planners, social events, tourism, and hospitality). * Identify consumer trends and propose **new products, experiences, or sales formats**. * Drive continuous commercial innovation aligned with premium market preferences. * Develop strategies to attract **high-value customers and major accounts**. **Client Management and Loyalty** * Maintain and follow up with **frequent customers and key accounts**. * Design and implement **loyalty, repeat-purchase, and retention strategies**. * Oversee the customer’s commercial experience—from first contact through post-sale. * Ensure high service standards and personalization for VIP customers. **Brand Activations and Commercial Marketing** * Lead **brand activations**, commercial events, and experiential initiatives to boost sales. * Collaborate with marketing on conversion-focused commercial campaigns. * Propose actions to **drive foot traffic to venues**, increase bookings and consumption. * Evaluate the impact and ROI of activations and campaigns. **Leadership and Sales Force** * Build, structure, and lead your **own sales force**. * Recruit, train, and develop the commercial team. * Supervise quotations, deal closures, and commercial follow-up. * Ensure commercial discipline, lead tracking, and objective achievement. * Motivate the team toward a high-performance, results-driven culture. **Commercial Control and Tracking** * Monitor daily sales, bookings, and commercial performance. * Review reports, forecasts, and the sales pipeline. * Adjust strategies swiftly based on results and market behavior. * Coordinate with operations to ensure accurate execution of sold services/products. **Key Competencies** * Strategic vision and large-scale business mindset * Strong results orientation and deal-closing ability * Negotiation and commercial relationship-building skills * Commercial leadership and team development * Analytical capability and profitability focus * Continuous innovation and creative thinking * Excellent communication and executive presence * High-level networking and social skills **Required Experience** * Proven experience as **Commercial Director, Commercial Manager, or Head of Sales**, minimum 8–10 years * Completed bachelor’s degree * Track record in **B2C and/or B2B sales**, preferably in premium sectors: hospitality, events, luxury goods, food & beverage, or experiential offerings * Experience working with **foreign clients, expatriates, or international tourism** * Experience leading commercial teams and growth strategies **English proficiency desirable.** **Work schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM daily, with one weekday off** Employment type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per month Application question(s): * Do you have verifiable experience in B2C and/or B2B sales within premium sectors (hospitality, events, luxury, food & beverage, or experiences)? * Have you worked directly with foreign clients, expatriates, or international tourism (American, Canadian, or European)? * Do you have experience building and leading commercial teams (recruitment, training, and KPI tracking)? * Do you have experience developing strategic alliances (wedding planners, event organizers, hospitality, or tourism)? * Are you comfortable participating in networking, trade fairs, exhibitions, and brand representation? * Do you have experience in the entertainment sector—bars and restaurants? This is mandatory. * Do you have over 7 years of experience as a Commercial Director?
