Position Summary: Comprehensive logistical coordination of international shipments, ensuring operational efficiency, on-time delivery, and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages international transportation logistics and supply chain operations. 2. Ensures operational efficiency and compliance with customs regulations. 3. Collaborates with carriers and suppliers to optimize shipments. - Quotation and rate analysis with U.S. carriers: Secure competitive transportation costs and optimal conditions contributing to operational and financial efficiency. - Development and tracking of the monthly USA shipment plan: Ensure proper load scheduling and adherence to the established logistics plan. - Daily coordination with carriers, plants, and suppliers: Ensure correct execution of shipments and smooth communication among all involved parties. - Submission and control of order confirmation forms agreed upon with carriers: Formalize and secure shipment terms, preventing errors or non-compliance. - Tracking of ETAs at border crossings and plants: Ensure transit time compliance and proactively anticipate potential operational delays. - Monitoring of loads at plants and in transit: Ensure proper load execution and timely detection of operational incidents. - Requesting, reviewing, and validating documentation with supplier plants: Ensure documentation is complete and accurate to avoid delays or rejections. - Reviewing and submitting documentation to inspection warehouses and customs agencies: Facilitate timely and compliant customs clearance per established requirements. - Tracking unloading at border crossings: Ensure proper receipt of goods and adherence to operational timelines. - Sending USA–MX shipment data to border crossings and internal departments: Keep all involved departments informed and ensure operational traceability. - Confirming arrival of Mexican carriers at border crossings: Efficiently coordinate the continuity of the binational logistics flow. - Reviewing import and logistics files: Ensure documentary and regulatory compliance for each operation. - Reviewing and approving additional charges (detention, layovers, and extra fees): Validate charges against agreed terms and control deviations in logistics costs. - Requesting and tracking credit notes (claims) with supplier plants: Recover amounts arising from incidents and protect the company’s financial interests. - Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree or higher Experience: 2 years Languages: English Skills: Efficiency, Conflict Resolution, Working Under Pressure, Analysis, Shipments, Logistics Processes, Tracking, Goal-Oriented Work, Transportation Keywords: logistics, logistica, estados, unidos
