Develops negotiation and communication skills with customers **Vacancy: Administrative \- Accounting Assistant** **Location:** Mérida, Yucatán**Modality:** Full\-time**Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.**Salary:** $10,000 \+ statutory benefits **Position Objective** Provide support in the administrative and operational management of the customer portfolio, ensuring timely payment follow\-up, accurate financial information reconciliation, and efficient debt recovery through professional communication with customers. **Responsibilities** * Monitor the customer portfolio and identify pending debts. * Perform bank reconciliations and payment validations. * Contact customers regarding overdue payments (calls, messages, and personalized service). * Implement collection strategies aimed at ensuring timely payment compliance. * Negotiate with delinquent customers according to established guidelines. * Manage, organize, and safeguard files and documentation. * Verify the correct origin of payments (account holder's accounts). * Download and validate payment receipts (SPEI). * Maintain an updated database and generate periodic collection reports. * Inform customers about administrative processes and updates. **Requirements** * Education: Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Administration, Accounting, or related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience in collections or administrative roles. * Proficiency in database management and administrative tools. * Basic financial knowledge and bank reconciliation skills. * Strong negotiation and customer interaction abilities. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure and focus on results. * Proactive attitude and effective communication skills. **Key Competencies** * Organization and time management. * Analysis and handling of numerical information. * Assertive communication and negotiation. * Teamwork. * Emotional intelligence and composure under pressure.
