Manage and audit inventories, assessing shrinkage and obsolete products. 2. Identify and evaluate variances between actual costs and budgeted amounts. 3. Propose improvements to reduce waste and increase profitability. A leading company in the hospitality and services sector requires a Cost Analyst. · Professional Profile and Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields. Experience: Typically a minimum of 2 to 3 years in similar roles, including cost control, budgeting, or inventory auditing. Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Excel; SAP ERP system expertise (desirable). Competencies: Critical thinking, proactivity, results orientation, and communication skills for reporting. · Responsibilities: Purchase order creation. Goods receipt: Validate expiration dates and cross-check against purchase orders. Inventory counts: Manage and audit inventories, assessing shrinkage and obsolete products. Variances: Identify and evaluate deviations between actual costs and approved budgets. Optimization: Propose improvements to reduce waste and increase product/service profitability. Reporting: Prepare financial and cost reports to support strategic decision-making.
