**We are seeking a Campus Physician for our Mérida campus.**
**We offer:**
* Monthly gross salary of $16,000.00 (approximately $14,000.00 net).

**Schedule:**
* Monday to Saturday. Monday to Friday: 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM; Saturdays: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
**About the Role: Campus Physician**
In this role, you will be responsible for providing emergency and urgent first-aid medical care, offering general medical guidance for common illnesses, referring cases requiring specialized medical attention as needed during students’/staff’s time at the institution, and developing and implementing the Annual Health and Preventive Medicine Plan in accordance with applicable regulations.
**Your key responsibilities:**
* Develop the Annual Health and Preventive Medicine Plan and the Annual First-Aid Plan; participate in developing the Annual EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Plan.
* Provide daily primary medical care and appropriate referrals to the university community based on their health conditions.
* Assess and refer cases—based on their potential risk level—to emergency medical services for incidents occurring within university facilities.
* Conduct pre-employment medical examinations according to position requirements and job profiles.
* Coordinate with healthcare organizations to implement vaccination campaigns, accident prevention initiatives, disease prevention programs, and other related activities.
* Participate in organizing meetings, tracking progress, and preparing minutes on various topics, in compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and established work procedures.
* Serve as a member of the Occupational Safety and Hygiene Commission (CSHT).
* Provide guidance to the university community on preventive medicine and school hygiene, health preservation, sexual education, drug dependence, alcoholism, smoking, and related topics.
**Profile we seek**
**Essential requirements:**
* Education: Degree and professional license in Medicine, Medical-Surgical Obstetrics, or closely related field.
* Experience: Minimum two years of experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of Mexican Official Norms (NOMs) issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS), risk management, civil protection, and formation/integration of Occupational Safety and Hygiene Commissions.
**Desirable:**
* Experience in global or educational environments.
* Key competencies: sense of urgency, assertive communication, problem-solving, service orientation.
