At our business unit **PORFIRIO'S GUADALAJARA, we have a spot waiting for you!** **R E S T A U R A N T C A S H I E R:** **REQUIREMENTS:** * Age: 22–35 years old * Education: High school diploma (preferred). * Gender: Unrestricted * Marital status: Unrestricted * Health: Good/Stable * Preferably reside near the location. * Relevant experience, preferably in restaurants. **SHIFT HOURS** From 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM (closing shift). (Includes weekends) Day off: Every Tuesday. **CORE COMPETENCIES:** * Innovation and continuous improvement * Information seeking * Critical thinking * Results-oriented management * Continuous improvement mindset * Working under pressure **SKILLS AND ABILITIES:** * Honesty * Strong mathematical skills to operate POS systems, collect payments, issue change, and perform cash reconciliations. * Teamwork * Organization * Solid communication skills * Problem-solving ability * Responsible and punctual * Empathy and sound judgment **EXPERIENCE:** * Preferred: 2 YEARS. **WE OFFER:** * Net monthly salary of $12,000 (tax-free). * Weekly tip distribution scheme. * Statutory benefits (vacation, vacation bonus, year-end bonus). * Social Security (IMSS). * Indefinite-term employment contract. * Complimentary uniforms. * Staff cafeteria service. * Job stability. * English classes. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** ***Service Operations:*** * Accept payments from guests, bussers, bartenders, and servers. * Issue guest consumption invoices upon request. * Submit stationery requisitions (printer rolls, staples, order pads, rubber bands, etc.). * Report all guest complaints and suggestions to the shift supervisor (Mandil). (We are committed to responding to all suggestions courteously and respectfully.) * Report any maintenance anomalies. ***Cash Handling:*** * Ensure no cash is on hand when starting your shift. * Verify the accuracy of the cash drawer’s opening balance before commencing operations. * Immediately notify the supervisor (Mandil) or manager if discrepancies arise. * Inform the supervisor (Mandil) if change is needed during your shift. * Perform daily cash reconciliations (reconcile card and cash sales against the system). * Sign cash reconciliation reports and confidentiality agreements regarding sales information. * Arrange banknotes face-up. * Separate tips for: Kitchen, Cleaning, Security, and Supervisors (Mandiles). * Distribute tips to servers at the end of your shift per the Tip Report. * Submit requests for bill and/or coin change (as applicable). * Prepare the cash reconciliation report for review and signature by the closing supervisor (Mandil Cierre). * Sign the final “Closing Supervisor Cash Reconciliation Sheet” after verification. **Lic.
