Location: Mérida, Yucatán Department: Operations / Construction Execution Position Type: Full-time Required Experience: Minimum 2 years Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience Job Description GRUPO BATCOR, a company specialized in construction and engineering, is seeking a Site Resident with a strong sense of responsibility, technical leadership, and results-oriented mindset. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the proper execution of projects, ensuring compliance with schedule, budget, and quality requirements, as well as appropriate on-site resource management. Responsibilities * Supervise and coordinate daily site activities. * Monitor physical progress against the execution schedule. * Manage and supervise contractors and operational staff. * Verify work quality per drawings and technical specifications. * Control materials, machinery, and resources on site. * Prepare physical and financial progress reports. * Review and validate contractor estimates and payment applications. * Coordinate with Cost, Planning, and Administration departments. * Monitor site safety and hygiene matters. * Participate in site meetings and client follow-up sessions. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. * Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Site Resident (building or infrastructure). * Knowledge of construction processes, quantity surveying, and site control. * Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing review. * Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. * Experience in controlling estimates and payment applications. * Familiarity with public and private construction regulations is desirable. * Leadership, decision-making, and on-site problem-solving skills.
