Forklift Driver

Description

Job Summary: This role involves receiving, organizing, and managing products and materials in a warehouse, operating forklifts safely, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently. 2. Organize and store products efficiently in the warehouse. 3. Collaborate with the team to resolve shipping discrepancies. Receive products and materials arriving at the warehouse. Report any safety incidents or issues to the supervisor. Comply with all safety standards for handling products and forklift equipment. Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload products. Perform basic maintenance on forklifts. Report forklift anomalies. Maintain detailed records of received products, including quantity, date of receipt, and supplier. Generate material receipt reports and document any irregularities or damage to products. Verify shipment compliance with orders and corresponding documentation. Label, categorize, and mark storage locations to facilitate product retrieval. Organize and store products efficiently and safely in the warehouse. Collaborate with the procurement and supply team to resolve shipping discrepancies. Communicate replenishment needs to procurement staff. * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team. * Basic knowledge of inventory management software. * Ability to work in a team and follow instructions. * Capacity to lift and carry heavy objects. * Knowledge of safety standards for material and equipment handling.
