Job Summary: Oversee the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining operational standards and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and supervise store teams 2. Foster an optimal work environment 3. Ensure customer satisfaction Oversee general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, employee misrecommendation, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory management tasks. * Supervise store operational activities as a role model and ensure employees provide customer guidance and utilize all available tools—including AutoZone’s electronic catalog and testing/diagnostic equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to their scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among team members and with our customers, applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and follow up on area-specific tasks for team leads—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, conduct cash sweeps, and perform register closings for staff under your supervision per AutoZone procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, conducting vehicle tests, or operating in-store test stations, thereby preventing workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
