Position Summary: Oversee the store’s overall operations, lead the team, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining operational processes and an optimal work environment. End-to-end store operations management Oversee general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and ensuring full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees advise customers and fully utilize tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic/test equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, thereby also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are detected. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among team members and with customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and monitor area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts from the main register, conduct cash sweeps, and process register closings for direct reports per AutoZone procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, helping prevent workplace accidents and guaranteeing a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to meet scheduling needs AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
