Maintenance Technician (Shared Services)

Job Summary: We are seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and automation equipment on production lines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment 2. Diagnoses failures and executes adjustments to optimize operations 3. Collaborates on continuous improvement initiatives and manages critical spare parts Job Description and Detailed Responsibilities * Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation equipment used in the production lines for connectors, modular jacks, hermetic connectors, and other products. * Diagnose equipment failures (e.g., vision systems, robots, electrical controls) and perform corrective maintenance to restore operations. * Perform mechanical adjustments, calibrations, and alignments as required, ensuring product tolerances and specifications are met. * Maintain maintenance records: work orders, logbooks, equipment history, spare parts used, downtime durations, etc. * Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives by proposing modifications to reduce failures, optimize efficiency, lower maintenance costs, and extend asset life. * Manage and control critical spare parts, reporting procurement needs or critical stock levels in advance to prevent delays due to part shortages. Work Schedule: 6:00 am \- 3:30 pm Monday to Friday. Experience and Requirements * Completed engineering program or technical degree in maintenance or equivalent * Minimum 2\-3 years of experience maintaining automated machinery, preferably in electronic manufacturing, connector manufacturing, or high-precision industries. * Intermediate experience with automation equipment, PLCs, and pneumatic systems. * Experience using electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools. * Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. * Solid knowledge of electricity (medium/low voltage), electric motors, frequency inverters, and servo motors. * Ability to read technical manuals and control diagrams. * Analytical ability to diagnose failures and solve problems.
