Project Engineer

Position Summary: Engineering Project Leader responsible for the design, construction, and programming of electromechanical systems, and for supervising subcontracted teams. Key Highlights: 1. Leads engineering and electromechanical systems projects 2. Provides technical support to engineering, operations, and maintenance 3. Designs and fabricates mechanisms and accessories using 2D and 3D CAD Description and Details of Responsibilities Responsibilities: * Engineering Project Leader * Designs, constructs, and programs electromechanical and instrumentation systems according to project requirements. * Supervises electrical design and programming of new equipment when subcontracted. * Justifies and executes capital investments required for continuous improvement of plant operations. * Provides technical support to engineering, operations, and maintenance. * Participates in engineering meetings to review acceptance runs and machine startups. * Trains Process Engineering and Maintenance Technicians on the operation of new equipment. * Designs and fabricates mechanisms and accessories required for operations using 2D and 3D CAD tools * Reviews, modifies, and leads soft-tooling and hard-tooling requirements. * Maintains complete documentation for all projects and tasks. * Works autonomously and methodically to achieve results, etc. Experience and Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field. * \+5 years of project experience * Intermediate English proficiency. * Contract management/review skills. * Advanced critical thinking and data-driven decision making * Proficiency in mechanical problem solving including static and dynamic analysis, material selection, thermal and surface treatment specification, metrology, and experimental design * Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD * 100% time availability required.
