




Position Summary: We are seeking a Quality Engineer to develop innovative solutions that enhance product quality and promote continuous improvement, driving process initiatives and plant-level accountability. You will drive process initiatives ensuring compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations, and engineering specifications, while simultaneously promoting plant-level accountability for Quality System adherence, product acceptance, and product quality. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Manage material returns associated with Quality Notifications (QN), coordinated with the Returns Department (RTV) * Coordinate Production Orders (PRO) at the Mexicali plant * Daily reporting on Production Orders (PRO) * Transfer of material from Quality Control areas to the warehouse * Notify external suppliers of purge results * Return materials to suppliers (RTV) * Manage rework of Production Orders (PRO) and inter-plant returns for customer delivery * Lead annual inventory for Quality areas (RTV, 352A, PRO) **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably in the aerospace industry. * Advanced English proficiency * Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards and the aerospace industry. * Ability to interpret quality, product, and process system specifications and standards. **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Clear and concise communication skills * Green Belt certification * FAIR Auditor certification * Knowledge of foundational Six Sigma tools * Quality tools (CAMP, Ishikawa diagram, cause-and-effect diagram, Pareto chart, histogram, inspection chart, control chart, check sheet). **Notes**: Work location is at El Vigia Industrial Park We offer a competitive salary plus statutory benefits Employment type: Full-time Salary: $24,000\.00 per month Experience: * Quality Control Engineer: 3 years (Mandatory) Language: * Advanced English (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment
