Descripción y detalle de las actividades We are currently seeking a talented and highly motivated **Manufacturing Engineer Welding** to join our operations team in Mexicali. This is an exciting opportunity for engineering professionals with experience in **welding manufacturing processes** who are passionate about continuous improvement, operational excellence, automation, and manufacturing innovation within the metal manufacturing industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing,improving, and supporting manufacturing processes focused on welding operations while ensuring the highest standards in safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency. Position Responsibilities: * Develop, improve, and support welding manufacturing processes * Create and update SOPs, Engineering Guidance, Work Instructions, and technical documentation * Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, Mini Kaizens, and Kaizen Events * Perform RCCA (Root Cause \& Corrective Action) activities to resolve production and quality issues * Support pilot builds, first production runs, and new manufacturing engineering projects * Collaborate with Cross Functional Teams (CFT) to improve operational performance * Support capacity analysis, cycle time studies, and manufacturing flow optimization * Provide technical support to production operations and process development activities Experiencia y requisitos Technical Knowledge \& Experience: ✔ TIG Welding – Aluminum Materials ✔ AWS D17\.1 Standards Knowledge ✔ Welding Acceptance Criteria ✔ Material \& Joint Preparation Processes ✔ Welding Drawing Interpretation per AWS A2\.4 ✔ Practical Welding Experience (Preferred) ✔ Welding Process Development Experience ✔ Cobot Welding \& Welding Automation Systems ✔ Fronius and Miller Welding Equipment Professional Competencies: * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Results\-oriented mindset * Effective communication and teamwork abilities * Sense of urgency and adaptability in fast\-paced environments * Strong organization and attention to detail * Commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement We are looking for professionals who want to continue growing their careers in a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on innovation, teamwork, quality, and operational excellence.
