Urgent: Class A Die Technician (Spotting with Blue Dye)

Job Summary: Support manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing tools and machinery, with a focus on automotive dies. Key Highlights: 1. Extensive experience in die repair, maintenance, and diagnosis Support manufacturing operations by safely and orderly maintaining and repairing all related tools and machinery as directed by the Tooling Business Unit Leader **Primary Technical Competency:** **100% knowledge, handling, design, and fabrication of AUTOMOTIVE dies** **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Ability to apply and read blue dye spotting on stamped parts** * **SPOTTING WITH BLUE DYE ON VISIBLE PARTS** * Ability to MIG/TIG/ARC weld a Class A surface and rework the weld on a visible part surface **QUALIFICATIONS** * Operate machine tools such as TIG/MIG/ARC welders, as well as manual grinding tools. * Apply blue detection compound and determine tool movement direction. * Read a blue spot panel. * Weld and work on Class A surfaces. * Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and tact. * Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. * Work flexible hours and overtime to be available for three (3\) shifts. * Use computers and software as required. * Interpret white light scans and CMM dimensional quality reports for individual stamped parts and complete assemblies. * Must have good color vision to work with dimensional reports. * Capable of using standard hand and measuring tools. Knowledge of departmental processes and procedures including: * Progressive dies * Transfer tools and systems * Checking fixtures * Clamping and welding fixtures * Automated equipment * Proven die design review skills * CAD and SURFCAM software * CNC operations * Preventive maintenance procedures * DOL Apprenticeship Program **REQUIREMENTS:** Technical degree in die-making or related field (VERIFIABLE) TECHNICAL LICENSE AND DIPLOMA **ISSUED BY SEP** \- **MANDATORY** Workshops, trainings, seminars verifying these competencies Passport English proficiency level: INTERMEDIATE Minimum experience: 10 years Excellent skills in DIE REPAIR, maintenance, and diagnosis. **Willingness to relocate** Employment type: Full-time Salary: Starting from $80,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract Work location: On-site employment
