We serve the three major markets—passenger vehicles, commercial trucks, and off-highway equipment—and from Dana, we deliver local service support and products to international original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket parts segment through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution centers. **Purpose of the Role** ------------------------- Provide frontline support to the production line on manufacturing-related topics. Manage consumables and tooling inventories. Create reference documentation and update documentation according to the production process. Maintain up-to-date line capacity analysis. Contact suppliers to obtain repair quotations. **Job Responsibilities and Duties** ------------------------------------------- Verify that equipment is operating correctly and equipped with appropriate tools for the task. Review primary causes of line stoppages and take corrective actions. Verify line capacity. Timely close outstanding manufacturing-related procurement, equipment modifications, and releases based on line requirements to prevent stoppages. Audit an assembly station to ensure compliance with all safety requirements, verifying that the process follows the standard, quality checkpoints are met, tools are in working condition, and the operator possesses the requisite skill to perform the operation.
