Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring quality and efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Detail-oriented and problem-solving focused **Mechanical Technician \- San Quintin, B.C.** **Requirements:** * 18 years of age or older. * Completed secondary education. * Technical training in automotive mechanics preferred. * Minimum experience in Diesel Mechanics. * Ability and aptitude to resolve mechanical problems. * Flexible availability for work hours. **Skills and Attitudes:** * Proactive, with a strong sense of order and cleanliness. * Capable of working with minimal supervision and meeting deadlines. * Manual dexterity and physical fitness to handle tools. * Detail-oriented and problem-solving focused. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform assigned maintenance and repairs on time and as scheduled by the workshop supervisor, adhering to standard repair times specified in KENMEX and powertrain manufacturer manuals. * Assist in repairs of mechanical and pneumatic suspension systems. * Support brake system maintenance. * Support preventive maintenance levels A, B, and C, both inside and outside the company; clean parts for repair purposes. * Ensure unit repairs are performed with the highest quality and in the shortest possible time (following procedures and specifications established by the manufacturer). * Properly use and manage the tool box provided upon starting employment, maintaining order and cleanliness of all tools. **Benefits:** * Savings fund * Option for indefinite-term contract * Free uniforms * Productivity bonuses * Base salary \+ commission scheme * Statutory benefits * Birthday day off * Company parking **Schedule:** Day shift: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with lunch break from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM.
