Implementation of improvements in accounting processes **Position Title:** Accounting Coordinator **Department:** Administration / Finance **Reports To:** Administrative Manager / General Manager **Position Objective:** Ensure accurate recording, control, and analysis of the company’s accounting information, guarantee compliance with tax and financial obligations, and supervise the accounting team to generate timely and reliable information for decision-making. **Main Responsibilities** * Supervise and coordinate the activities of accounting staff (accounting assistants). * Review and validate accounting entries (revenue, expense, and journal vouchers). * Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements. * Ensure compliance with tax obligations (filings, payments, etc.). * Coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings. * Manage bank reconciliations and account clean-up. * Supervise accounts payable and accounts receivable jointly with relevant departments. * Support internal and external audits. * Implement improvements in accounting and administrative processes. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable accounting and tax regulations. **Responsibilities** * Accuracy and reliability of accounting information. * Timely and proper fulfillment of tax obligations. * Organization and control of the accounting department. * Handling and safeguarding of accounting documentation. **Position Profile** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting or related field. **Experience:** * 3–5 years in general accounting. * Experience supervising staff (preferred). **Knowledge:** * General accounting * Tax regulations (SAT) * Accounting software (CONTPAQi, SAP or similar) * Intermediate\-Advanced Excel **Skills** * Leadership * Organization * Numerical analysis * Decision-making * Working under pressure Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: $25,000\.00 \- $30,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Savings fund * Option for indefinite-term contract * Cafeteria service * Free uniforms Work Location: On-site employment
