




Position Summary: We are seeking a Civil Engineer or Architect with experience in commercial construction supervision—especially in the retail sector—to coordinate projects, ensure quality, and comply with regulations. End-to-end project management: quality, costs, and schedules **Education:** * Civil Engineer, Architect, or related degree. **Experience:** * 3–5 years supervising commercial construction projects, preferably in **supermarkets or retail**. * Experience coordinating contractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring construction quality in stores or distribution centers. **Knowledge and Skills:** * Construction codes, safety standards, and local regulations applicable to commercial establishments. * Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and electrical drawings. * Control of timelines, costs, and construction quality in retail environments. * Coordination of suppliers and specialized contractors for store renovation or construction. * Proficiency in Office suite and construction management software (AutoCAD, MS Project). * Ability to anticipate issues and propose rapid solutions in operational environments. **Main Responsibilities:** * Supervise execution of supermarket renovation, expansion, or construction projects according to schedule and budget. * Coordinate and supervise contractors, suppliers, and internal site personnel. * Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and municipal or state regulations. * Verify quality of materials, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration systems, and finishes. * Prepare construction progress, cost, and observation reports, submitting them to the project management or construction department. * Coordinate temporary store closures or adjustments to minimize operational impact. * Support final project handover and project closure. **Personal Competencies:** * Leadership and management of multidisciplinary teams. * Organization, planning, and activity control. * Effective communication across departments (operations, procurement, maintenance). * Results-oriented, with focus on quality and schedule adherence. * Proactivity and on-site problem-solving.
