Position Summary: We are seeking an electrical or mechatronic engineer to supervise electrical installations in industrial projects, manage teams, and coordinate with contractors to ensure quality and regulatory compliance. We seek engineers who not only understand electricity but also know how to lead people, make decisions, and maintain control when construction work intensifies. You will be responsible for supervising the entire electrical installation of the project: low- and medium-voltage systems, panel and MCC assembly, wiring, conduits, and contractor coordination. Your signature on the work signifies that it has been properly executed. ### **Responsibilities** * Supervise field installation of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems * Coordinate electrical contractors and verify installation quality against IFC drawings and single-line diagrams * Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations (NOM-001-SEDE, NFPA 70) * Implement and enforce electrical safety procedures (LOTO, risk analysis, energized work) * Supervise assembly of panels, MCCs, transformers, and grounding systems * Prepare progress reports and estimates for project management * Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and instrumentation disciplines without impacting the critical path * Manage punch list closure and non-conformities ### **Requirements** ### **Experience** * Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related degree (certified) * Minimum 5 years in industrial construction or infrastructure projects * At least 3 years as Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Site Resident, or Field Electrical Engineer * Proven experience in medium- and low-voltage electrical system installation, panel and MCC assembly * Proficiency in AutoCAD or Navisworks for reviewing electrical drawings * Knowledge and application of NOM-001-SEDE, NFPA 70, and LOTO procedures * Familiarity with electrical measurement equipment (multimeter, ammeter, megger) * Technical English proficiency at B1–B2 level * Preferred: Commissioning experience ### **Benefits** ### **We Offer** * Salary: $25,000 monthly, tax-free * Direct employment with IPA * High-impact project within an established company in Los Altos de Jalisco * Monday to Friday, full-time * Location: Arandas, Jalisco Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related degree (certified) Minimum 5 years in industrial construction or infrastructure projects
