




Position Summary: Manages and supervises customs operations at key ports, resolves operational issues, leads teams, and ensures customer satisfaction. Key Highlights: 1. Personnel management and resource analysis **Responsibilities**: * Manage customs operations for Manzanillo, Veracruz, and Altamira ports, conducted in the city of GDL. * Resolve issues arising during maritime operations at the aforementioned ports. * Customer service * Communicate to organizational staff the importance of meeting Customer Requirements. * Authorize requests for customs regime changes, correction requests, and over-the-counter payments. * Assign duties and activities to new hires, current staff, and staff undergoing position changes. * Analyze required resources and workspace needed for a prospective client's operation. * Address and resolve any issues arising during operations. * Report operational effectiveness results to Management. * Conduct port visits to Manzanillo as required. **Required Profile:** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or equivalent * Experience in operations at the Manzanillo port and other maritime ports (Mandatory) * Experience in Customs Brokerage * Knowledge of Master B/L and/or House B/L revalidation processes, Letter of Instruction, and Letter of Guarantee * Excellent communication and organizational skills. **Skills**: * Personnel management * Decision-making * Analytical and organizational ability * Leadership * Teamwork. **Experience**: Minimum 5 years in this role and in Customs Brokerage Salary: Up to $70,000.00 per month Benefits: * Free parking * Company-provided mobile phone * Free uniforms * Additional vacation days or paid leave * Food vouchers Education: * Completed bachelor’s degree (Mandatory) Experience: * Maritime operations management: 5 years (Mandatory) Willingness to travel: * 50% (Desirable) Work location: On-site employment
