Key Responsibilities: * Design and implement policies, procedures, and work methodologies for the administrative area (accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, costs, budgeting) and ensure their consistent application across all company units. * Establish, maintain, and improve the internal accounting and administrative control system, including segregation of duties, authorizations, reconciliations, variance analysis, internal audits, and regulatory compliance (e.g., NIF, Income Tax Law, VAT, etc.). * Coordinate preparation of financial statements and monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and accounting regulations. Perform variance analysis, review atypical entries, and propose corrective actions. * Lead budget preparation, financial forecasting, and budget monitoring; prepare deviation reports and ensure active participation of administrative departments in the budgeting process. * Supervise cost, margin, and profitability analysis, providing reports that support operational optimization and strategic decision-making for the company. * Implement and enhance administrative and accounting performance indicators (KPIs) (e.g., days sales outstanding, days payables outstanding, fixed asset turnover, administrative costs as a percentage of sales, reconciliation error rate, etc.). * Coordinate internal and external audit activities, facilitate their execution, address findings, and ensure implementation of improvement plans. * Advise senior management on accounting, tax, financial, and administrative matters; participate in special projects such as mergers, acquisitions, capital investments, process improvements, digitalization, and automation. * Develop, train, and supervise the administrative/accounting team, ensuring high performance levels, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. * Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement within the administrative area, aligned with the company’s values and strategy.
