If you seek a company where your work makes real impact and where people are treated with genuine respect, this is your place. **Position Description** The Accounting Assistant is responsible for timely and accurate recording of the company’s transactions, ensuring correct accounting treatment and verifying that all documents comply with applicable tax regulations. **Key Responsibilities** \- Record the company’s financial transactions to generate timely financial information for decision-making. \- Manage sales invoicing in compliance with current tax obligations. \- Perform bank reconciliations to validate balances between bank statements and accounting ledgers. \- Prepare information for provisional tax payments in coordination with the Assistant Controller. \- Execute pre-closings and tax closings at scheduled intervals, ensuring clean trial balances and timely financial statements. **Minimum Requirements** * Recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting or related field, or intern with minimum 80% course completion. * Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting firm handling accounting for medium-sized retail companies. * Proficiency in CONTPAQi Contabilidad. * Intermediate-level Excel; experience with SUA, FORTIA, or NOMIPAQ. * Familiarity with SAT, IMSS, IDSE, and INFONAVIT portals. * Solid understanding of general accounting, payroll, and provisional tax calculations. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in intercompany reconciliations and customer billing control. * Knowledge of account cleanup procedures and tax working papers. * Prior experience in food industry companies or multi-branch operations. * Familiarity with ERP accounting systems beyond CONTPAQi. **Key Competencies** Adherence to procedures · Concentration ability · Planning and organization · Information analysis · Teamwork · Attention to detail **Conditions** Location: Chapalita area \- Guadalajara, Jalisco.
