**Position:** Water treatment project engineer
**Reports to:** General Management / Executive Management
**Supervises:** Operational supervisors and assigned technical staff
**Interacts with:** Operations, maintenance, administration, laboratory, suppliers, and clients
**2\. Position Objective**
Coordinate and monitor projects, technical operations, and operational controls related to water treatment plants, ensuring delivery of deliverables, operational continuity, technical documentation, supervision team follow-up, and technical client support.
**3\. Required Profile**
**Academic Background**
* Chemical, environmental, industrial engineering, biotechnology, or related field.
**Experience**
* Minimum 3–5 years in:
* Operation and supervision of wastewater treatment plants.
* Design and optimization of water treatment systems.
* Technical project management and monitoring.
* Client support and follow-up.
* Documentation and control of operational processes.
* Diagnosis and resolution of operational issues at water treatment plants.
* Response to and follow-up on field operational incidents.
**Technical Knowledge**
* Wastewater and industrial water treatment processes.
* Design and sizing of treatment systems.
* Preparation of calculation reports.
* Interpretation of PFD and P\&ID diagrams.
* Operational control and parameter analysis.
* Diagnosis and resolution of operational failures in water treatment systems.
* Interpretation and analysis of operational parameters for decision-making.
* Identification of operational risks and definition of corrective actions.
* Applicable environmental regulations (NOM, NMX, and related standards).
* Document management and preparation of technical reports.
* Performance indicators and operational monitoring.
* Advanced Excel proficiency.
* Use and handling of AutoCAD 2D for diagrams and hydraulic drawings.

* Coordinate water treatment-related projects.
* Prepare and review designs, calculation reports, and technical documentation.
* Prepare 2D diagrams and drawings.
* Participate in technical proposals and evaluation of solution alternatives.
* Provide technical follow-up on active projects and services.
* Coordinate tests, commissioning, and operational validations.
**Operational Supervision and Monitoring**
* Coordinate and monitor the team of operational supervisors.
* Validate operational controls and activity compliance at the plant.
* Monitor incidents, deviations, and operational risks.
* Supervise compliance with technical reports and deliverables.
* Prioritize critical activities and ensure operational continuity.
**Operational Problem Resolution**
* Diagnose and monitor operational problems at water treatment plants.
* Coordinate corrective actions with supervision, operations, and maintenance.
* Provide technical support during critical incidents or operational deviations.
* Propose technical solutions to improve system performance and operational continuity.
**Document Management and Standardization**
* Ensure backup and organization of technical and operational information.
* Keep procedures, templates, and instructions up to date.
* Centralize documentation on institutional platforms.
* Generate traceability for projects, controls, and operational monitoring.
* Participate in process standardization and continuous improvement.
**Client Support and Follow-up**
* Participate in technical and progress meetings with clients.
* Provide visibility into progress, risks, and pending items.
* Address technical and operational requirements.
* Coordinate follow-up on commitments made to clients.
**Compliance and Continuous Improvement**
* Ensure regulatory and operational compliance of systems.
* Propose technical and operational improvements.
* Participate in audits, reviews, and performance analysis.

Salary: $20,000.00 \- $25,000.00 per month
