DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES: Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC-specialized Service Technician to perform equipment installation and maintenance. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1\- General maintenance and corrective and preventive actions—electrical and electronic—in industrial processes (ideally in refrigeration and HVAC systems). 2\- Maintenance of electrical equipment associated with electromechanical power systems (VLT, VSD, PLC, etc). 3\- Intermediate knowledge of microprocessors and controllers. 4\- Complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes, to the highest possible standard, and preferably without rework (warranty compliance). 5\- Achieve the productivity target set by Johnson Controls. 6\- Knowledge of and ability to interpret PID control and power diagrams. 7\- Ability to train and supervise junior-level technicians. 8\- Identify sales opportunities (spare parts and service sales). REQUIREMENTS: * Degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering or University Technical Degree in Industrial Refrigeration and Climate Control. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Technician or 3 years’ experience as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer. * Knowledge of HVAC control systems. * Proactive, leadership skills, personnel management experience.
