Job Summary: Hotel Shops is seeking a proactive and organized Accounting Assistant to record transactions, update accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist in the preparation of financial statements and accounting closings. We are looking for your talent and invite you to join our great team as an Accounting Assistant! **REQUIREMENTS:** * Must reside in Cancún, Quintana Roo. * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (completed). * 1 year of experience in accounting. * Availability to work flexible hours. * Intermediate Excel proficiency (Mandatory). **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Record and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are properly documented. * Update accounts receivable and issue invoices. * Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations. * Record journal entries. * Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in accordance with the company’s legal and financial guidelines. * Assist with expense reviews, payroll records, etc., as assigned. * Update financial data in databases to ensure information accuracy and immediate availability when required. * Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports. * Support senior accountants in preparing monthly/annual closings. * Assist with other accounting tasks. **COMPETENCIES:** * Proactive. * Dynamic. * Team-oriented. * Responsible and organized. * Analytical ability. **WE OFFER:** * \-Competitive salary. * \-Statutory benefits. * Life insurance. * Uniforms. * \-Professional development opportunities. * \-Continuous training and a collaborative environment.
