Job Summary: Administer and continuously improve Quality and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Key Highlights: 1. Manage Quality and Environmental Management Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001/14001). 2. Coordinate internal and external audits and implement improvements. 3. Interact with various internal and external departments on quality-related matters. **PURPOSE OF THE POSITION** Administer, maintain, and support the implementation and continuous improvement of Quality and Environmental Management Systems, ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015 requirements, as well as customer, regulatory, and corporate requirements. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Develop, coordinate, and monitor the Internal Audit Program, ensuring procedures are properly documented, implemented, and maintained. * Coordinate follow-up audits to verify timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from nonconformities. * Analyze audit results and implement action plans focused on continuous improvement. * Report to Management on the performance of the Quality Management System, including key indicators, results of internal and external audits, corrective and preventive actions, and opportunities for improvement. * Facilitate and support Management Review by preparing executive reports and supporting documentation. * Stay updated on changes to internal, international standards and regulatory requirements, coordinating transition activities, training, communication, and implementation of changes. * Participate in product and process validation activities, documenting changes and improvements. * Support the introduction of new products, ensuring compliance with quality requirements and documentation. * Coordinate preparation activities for external audits, certifications, and recertifications. * Represent the company before certification bodies and regulatory agencies, attending quality audits. * Coordinate the handling and analysis of customer complaints and failure reports, ensuring their registration, tracking, and closure per the Management System. * Support and participate in staff training on the fundamentals of Quality Management Systems. * Provide support to functional departments in developing, improving, and controlling Management System documentation. * Manage document change requests, ensuring review, approval, controlled distribution, and validity. **AUTHORITY** * Halt processes or activities upon detection of anomalies, risks, nonconforming products, or foreign objects, promptly notifying the supervisor or relevant management. **Internal Relationships:** * Reports to: Quality Manager II / Quality Assurance. * Interacts with departments such as Materials, Procurement, Engineering, Production, RBS, Finance, and Customer Service. **External Relationships:** * Interacts with Corporate (Thomson / Regal Rexnord) to align best practices. * Interacts with customers through established channels for addressing quality-related matters. * Collaborates with Design and Engineering departments to resolve quality issues and develop new products and/or processes. * Attends customer, certification body, and regulatory agency audits. **PERFORMANCE METRICS** * Internal and external quality. * Supplier quality. * Customer response capability. * Results of internal and external audits. * Completion rate of corrective and preventive actions. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering). * Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Quality Engineer. * Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015\. * Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). **KEY COMPETENCIES** * Planning and organization. * Analytical thinking. * Problem solving. * Results-oriented. * Teamwork.
