Job Summary: This position seeks a maintenance leader to ensure the optimal operation and appearance of hotel facilities by managing teams and personnel. Key Highlights: 1. Ensuring safety and optimal operation of facilities **Knowledge:** * Management of preventive and corrective maintenance programs. * Electricity, electronics, carpentry, air conditioning, refrigeration, welding, and construction finishing. * Personnel administration and management. * Preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual reports and summaries. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Occupational safety, hygiene, and health regulations. * Interpretation of technical manuals and equipment diagrams. * Water treatment and pool maintenance. **Skills:** * Effective leadership and teamwork. * Ability to analyze information and solve problems. * Proper management of expenses. * Ability to share knowledge. * Conflict resolution/Customer service/Excellent communication. **Responsibilities:** * Maintain the building, facilities, furniture, and equipment in optimal operating condition and appearance to ensure hotel operations. * Ensure efficient and continuous use of hotel equipment. * Manage the department’s budget and control expenditures. * Establish, update, and supervise the Safety and Hygiene Committee’s operations. * Establish, update, and supervise Emergency Brigades’ operations jointly with Human Capital and General Management. * Guarantee proper functioning of fire detection, alarm, and suppression systems in compliance with applicable regulations. * Daily supervision and control of energy consumption logs, cold room temperature readings, and pool parameters. * Ensure adequate and appropriate staffing for correct handling of building equipment and facilities. * Follow up on maintenance requests from other departments. * Conduct regular inspections of critical equipment or key hotel areas to identify potential failures or issues. * Respond promptly to operational incidents. * Responsible for specific onboarding of newly hired personnel. * Develop training and development programs for department staff. * Participate with the Executive Committee in planning and executing necessary emergency actions to ensure the safety of customers, guests, and staff, as well as protection of the property and its equipment. * Coordinate with the Committee to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene conditions for all staff activities according to current regulations. * Coordinate, supervise, and receive expansion, renovation, and improvement projects for our facilities. * Ensure appropriate quantities of materials and supplies are available for department operations, as well as proper stock rotation. * Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to select service and equipment providers based on cost, quality, delivery time, and performance. * Coordinate, receive, and supervise external contractor work to meet quality and safety standards.
