Job Summary: A leading transportation company is seeking a proactive Mechanic Assistant to support general maintenance, tire repair, and inspections of tractor-trailer and trailer units. DESCRIPTION ***Location:*** *Near Jaral on the highway to Colombia.* *A leading transportation company with fifth-wheel units is seeking a proactive* ***Mechanic Assistant*** *with strong willingness to join.* ### **Main Responsibilities:** * **General Maintenance Support:** Assist in oil, filter, and other fluid changes for tractor-trailers and trailers. * **Tire Repair:** Collaborate in damage detection, disassembly, repair, and reassembly of tires. * **Unit Inspections:** Actively participate in visual and functional inspections of trucks and trailers to identify potential failures or wear. * **Repair Assistance:** Support mechanics in performing various mechanical and electrical repairs. * **Preventive Maintenance:** Contribute to executing preventive maintenance programs to minimize unit downtime. ### **Job Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in similar roles such as mechanic assistant, automotive mechanic, or related fields; experience with tractor-trailers is preferred. * **Basic Knowledge:** Understanding of basic heavy-vehicle systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension). * **Physical Skills:** Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and working in various positions. ### **What We Offer?** * **Competitive Compensation:** A tax-free weekly base salary, negotiable between $3,000 and $4,000 MXN, based on experience and performance. * **Statutory Benefits:** Full compliance with statutory benefits (Social Security, Christmas bonus, vacation, vacation premium, etc.). * **Professional Development:** Opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills in heavy machinery maintenance. *If you meet the requirements and are ready to take on this challenge, we invite you to join us.
