Our engineering and product innovation help keep soldiers and firefighters safe, is critical in building and keeping communities clean and helps people do their jobs every day.** Position Title: Paint Production Operator **Description:** Ensure production area objectives defined for your workstation by performing standardized manufacturing work and maintaining an inclusive, team-oriented culture to achieve the highest quality levels necessary to meet the company’s critically important goals. The operator reports to the Team Leader and Production Supervisor. **Responsibilities:** **Ensure compliance with the production plan for your workstation.** **Execute activities described in your Standardized Work Instruction (SWI).** **Perform activities in accordance with the Internal Labor Regulations (ILR).** Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) for the task at hand. Perform production activities in adherence to defined standards (quality, production, safety, etc.) as well as established control processes. Understand and provide feedback to upstream and downstream workstations regarding product defects and conditions. Perform line maintenance and preservation activities as directed by the supervisor. Perform required Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). **Ensure your workstation complies with the 5S standard.** **Follow all rules and instructions issued by your Team Leader or Production Supervisor at all times.** **Authorities:** * You are authorized to report and/or stop any activity identified as posing a risk to the safety of any person inside the facility—whether an employee, contractor, service provider—or to the facility itself. * Regarding quality, you are authorized to stop any process and/or work activity identified as potentially jeopardizing the quality of our products and/or customer requirements—either during your operation or upstream/downstream of it. **Basic and Preferred Qualifications** * Minimum education required: Junior High School * Minimum required experience: 1 year in the metal-mechanical and/or automotive industry * Availability to rotate shifts * Basic knowledge of paint application * Proficiency in using hand tools * Adherence to work standards * Age: Must be of legal age * Gender: Not applicable * Marital status: Not applicable **Required Competencies:** * Adaptability * Commitment * Stress tolerance * Flexibility * Initiative * Participation in continuous improvement * Teamwork * Optimism * Willingness * Ability to build collaborative relationships
