Our engineering and product innovation help keep soldiers and firefighters safe, is critical in building and keeping communities clean and helps people do their jobs every day.** Position Title: Prefabrication Production Operator **Description:** Ensure production area objectives through operation of prefabrication equipment such as Laser, Plasma, Press, Saw, and Drills, adhering to defined manufacturing processes while maintaining an inclusive culture and teamwork, achieving the highest quality levels to meet the company’s critically important goals. The prefabrication operator reports to the Team Leader and Production Supervisor. **Responsibilities:** **Ensure compliance with the production plan for your workstation.** **Follow manufacturing instructions for the part number being produced.** **Validate produced parts per CTQ and inspection plan according to verification frequency.** **Complete the Near Miss form whenever a risk condition for the operator is detected.** **Wear personal protective equipment at all times while in the operational area.** **Always follow rules specified by your Team Leader and/or Production Supervisor.** **Ensure your workstation complies with the 5S standard.** **Authorities:** * **You have the authority to report and/or stop any activity identified as posing a risk to the safety of any person within the plant—whether an employee, contractor, or service provider—and/or to facilities.** * **Regarding quality, the employee has the authority to stop any process and/or work activity identified as potentially compromising product quality and/or customer requirements.** **Basic and Preferred Qualifications** * Education: Completed high school (preferred) * Gender: Not specified * Marital Status: Not specified * Age: Adult * Required Experience: Experience handling tools such as calipers and goniometers (preferred) * Knowledge and operation of CNC equipment (preferred) * Experience in the metalworking and/or automotive industry Competencies * Numerical analysis * Stress tolerance * Planning and organization * Encourages innovation and inclusion * Alignment with the Organization
