We are looking for an **Application Support Engineer (Shopfloor)** for Automotive Sector projects with the following requirements: **Objective:** Ensure the availability, stability, and operational continuity of shopfloor production applications by serving as the first point of contact for Production, performing advanced technical diagnosis of operating systems, log analysis, preventive monitoring, incident management, and coordination with Level 2 and Level 3 support teams—guaranteeing adherence to defined service-level agreements (SLAs). **Education:** Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Information Technologies, Computer Science, or a related field. **Experience:** * Minimum 2–3 years of experience supporting production applications. * Incident diagnosis. * Monitoring and operational continuity. **Management Skills:** * IT Service Management (ITIL) * Documentation and report generation. * Ticket management tool proficiency. **Technical Knowledge:** * Windows XP, 7, 8, 10 in production environments * Diagnosis and analysis of: Windows services, system processes, boot sequence, and availability * Basic operating system administration. * Log analysis and diagnosis: Windows and SFIT applications. * Backup, virtualization, and recovery. * Knowledge of high-availability architectures. * Database query-level knowledge: SQL / Queries * Backup tools (Acronis, Veeam) * Remote connectivity (NetSupport, or others defined by the client) * BCP / Business Continuity **Soft Skills:** * Results-oriented * Problem-solving * Adaptability * Effective communication * Self-directed learning * Collaborative teamwork * Planning, organization, and follow-up * Security-focused mindset * Continuous improvement **Certifications:** ITIL® 4 Foundation — desirable **Schedule:** * Monday to Sunday, midweek day off, rotating shifts **General Information:** * ***On-site mode: Silao, Guanajuato*** * *Statutory benefits* * **Monthly performance bonus** * **Monthly punctuality and attendance bonus** * Ongoing training * Performance management * Participation in high-impact projects within a leading corporate group.
