Job Summary: A major insurance company is seeking a Junior Remote Appraiser to ensure vehicle appraisals, analyzing and authorizing repairs and/or indemnifications. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure the quality of vehicle appraisals 2. Analyze and validate part replacements to prevent fraud 3. Use parts quotation tools and manage auctions IMPORTANT INSURANCE COMPANY IS CURRENTLY HIRING HDI SEGUROS: JUNIOR REMOTE APPRAISER REQUIREMENTS: Completed high school diploma and/or incomplete engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial) Desirable experience in automobiles, Service Advisor, or Operations roles; Agency/Workshop Manager. Desirable knowledge and proficiency with commonly used appraisal tools in the market. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that vehicle appraisals for policyholders and third parties are completed within the first 48 hours. Conduct high-quality appraisals, authorizing appropriate amounts for repair and/or indemnification of insured vehicles. Analyze in detail the authorization of requested part replacements, validate origin, and detect possible fraud. Correctly use the company’s parts quotation tools and immediately submit authorized replacement parts for auction upon completion of the appraisal. Meet the daily workload automatically assigned via the Efile carousel.
