




Position Summary: Classifies commodities according to customs regulations, restrictions, and tariffs, and performs administrative tasks involving direct and indirect customer interaction. Key Responsibilities: 1. Customs commodity classification and government regulations. 2. Customer interaction on customs-related matters. 3. Administrative and office support to the Manager. Involves classifying commodities in accordance with governmental customs regulations (RGCE Annex 22\), restrictions, and import/export duty rates. Performs a variety of administrative and office tasks requiring direct and indirect customer interface. **Position Overview:** Under general supervision, perform the following activities: * Classify commodities in accordance with PCS changes, governmental customs regulations, restrictions, and import/export duty rates. * Perform a variety of administrative and office tasks requiring direct and indirect customer attention. * Classify commodities in accordance with governmental customs duty rates. * Complete registration forms depending on the product. * Interact with customers on customs-related matters. * Write or otherwise prepare various operational reports. * Maintain and audit all assigned records and files. * Provide administrative and office support to the Manager. * May be required to perform other assigned tasks * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent completed **Minimum Experience:** * Prior experience in administrative service or customer service within a service-oriented environment. * Eighteen (18\) months of experience in customs clearance activities. **Minimum Required Skills:** * Knowledge of import and export tariffs. * General office skills are required, including light typing, filing, and computer knowledge. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to lift 34 kg and maneuver any individual package weighing up to 68 kg using appropriate equipment. * Neat grooming and professional appearance. * Fluency in English is preferred.
