Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced waiter/waitress to attend to and satisfy customer needs, present menus, take orders, serve food and beverages, and resolve issues. Key Highlights: 1. Customer service and menu recommendations. 2. Order management and food and beverage service. 3. Problem resolution and coordination of work area. We seek a waiter or waitress with **a minimum of one year’s experience.** Responsibilities: * **Greet and welcome customers**: Welcome customers warmly and make them feel comfortable by guiding them to their tables. * **Present the menu and make recommendations**: Explain the menu and provide suggestions based on customers’ preferences or needs, including beverage options and special dishes. * **Take orders**: Listen carefully and accurately record food and beverage orders, accommodating any special requests or dietary restrictions. * **Serve food and beverages**: Deliver dishes and drinks to tables in an orderly and professional manner, ensuring customers receive what they ordered and within appropriate timing. * **Anticipate customer needs**: Remain available and attentive to determine whether customers require additional items, such as beverage refills, extra bread, or utensils. * **Resolve problems and complaints**: Handle any issues promptly and respectfully, striving to resolve problems arising during the customer experience. * **Present bills and process payments**: Present the bill at the end of the meal, clarify any questions regarding charges, and process payments accurately. * **Prepare and clean the work area**: Maintain cleanliness and good condition of tables, chairs, and service stations, including preparation before and after each service shift. * **Coordinate with kitchen and bar**: Clearly communicate orders and special requests to the kitchen or bar, and ensure dishes are ready for timely service. * **Promote dishes and special events**: Inform customers about restaurant dishes, promotions, or special events to increase interest and sales. **Schedules:** Tuesday to Sunday: 7:30 am to 10:00 pm Monday: Day off. \*We offer\* \- Base salary \- Tips \- Statutory benefits \- Staff meals Employment type: Full-time Salary: $8,000\.00 \- $8,500\.00 per month Benefits: * Complimentary uniforms Education: * Completed high school (Preferred) Experience: * Similar position: 1 year (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment
