Job Summary: Perform conventional machining, grinding, and turning operations on metal parts according to drawings and specifications, ensuring proper equipment operation and adherence to production schedules. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate conventional lathe and surface grinding machines 2. Interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications 3. Fabricate, fit, and grind metal parts **Objective:** Perform conventional machining, grinding, and turning operations on metal parts according to drawings, technical specifications, and established quality standards, ensuring proper equipment operation and adherence to production schedules. **Role and Responsibilities:** \-Operate conventional lathe and surface grinding machines. \-Interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications. \- Fabricate, fit, and grind metal parts. \- Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments. \- Perform basic machine adjustments and calibrations. \- Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. \- Comply with quality and industrial safety procedures. \- Report machinery failures or process deviations. \- Assist in basic preventive maintenance of equipment. \- Meet established delivery and production deadlines. **Required Knowledge:** \- Interpretation of mechanical drawings and blueprints. \- Tolerances and fits. \- Types of metallic materials. \- Use of cutting tools. \- Cylindrical and surface grinding processes. \- Industrial safety practices applied to machinery. \- Use of measuring instruments: Vernier caliper Micrometer Dial indicator **Work Experience:** MINIMUM 3 YEARS Experience operating: \-Conventional lathe \-Cylindrical grinding machine \-Basic/intermediate interpretation of drawings Salary: $3,000\.00 \- $3,500\.00 per week Benefits: * Free beverages * Free uniforms Workplace: On-site employment
